Oracle introduced SPEL in OA Framework a while back but few consultancies have realised its potential for delivering high quality and efficient solutions. We promote the use of SPEL personalizations in any of our implementations.
Using SPEL personalizations mean that your solution is more portable and also more extensible in the future.
